I’m A Turkey by Jim Arnosky

I love this book!  It has a number of fascinating facts about turkeys that I did not know until I found it for Story Time!  Fun and clever and not your typical turkey picture book!

Itsy Bitsy Story Time – November

Here are the songs and rhymes we are using this month!

Turkey Finger Rhyme
I have a turkey big and fat (make fist with thumb stuck out for turkey’s head)
He spreads his tail and walks like that, (make ‘tail’ by spreading out other hand and attaching to other hand)
His daily corn he would not miss, (poke thumb to ‘eat’)
And when he talks he talks like this:
Gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble! (tickle your baby/toddler!!)
