Activity: Humpty Dumpty
I found this great idea on Dr. Jean’s page. We chanted the traditional nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty and then created new rhyming verses:
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall,
All the King’s horses and all the king’s men,
Couldn’t put Dumpty together again.
Humpty Dumpty sat on a peg,
Humpty Dumpty fell on his leg…

Kids thought this was hilarious and we practiced our rhyming skills will getting the wiggles out!
