Flannel Friday – I Know and Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow!

Aunt Bea is back with some winter fun!

There was a cold lady who swallowed some snow,
I don’t know why she swallowed some snow,
Perhaps you know?

I know a cold lady who swallowed some coal,
Swallowed it whole, the entire coal,
She swallowed the coal to go with the snow….

I know a cold lady who swallowed some buttons,
What a gultton to swallow the buttons
She swallowed the buttons to go with the coal,
She swallowed the coal to go with the snow….

I know a cold lady who swallowed a hat,
Fancy that she swallowed a hat….

I know a cold lady who swallowed some sticks,
I’d be sick if I swallowed a stick….

I know a cold lady who swallowed a carrot,
Just like a parrot, she swallowed that carrot…

I know a cold lady who swallowed a scarf,
She tried not to barf when she swallowed that scarf…

I know a cold lady who really was full,
She hiccuped and hiccuped and hiccuped until…
SHE MADE A SNOWMAN!

Click There Was a Cold Lady for the .pdf of the images I used. I printed my three snowballs (pages 1-2) onto milk filters to use on my flannel board, used the images on page 3 for my word cards and made the rest of the snowman parts shown on the board out of felt.
